Today, my team and I had to watch the horrible video of a middle school student being bullied, strangled and punched in the head repeatedly. The violence happening in our schools is real and kids are suffering.
School leadership should stop trying to protect their reputations and instead protect students and teachers. The first step is to put an expert in the role of Chief Safety Officer. Our community and our kids deserve better than this.
